Haywards Heath & District Table Tennis League

The Sunday practice is for everybody, regardless of their ability. There are usually a range of players, from beginners to top League players.

Cost: £3.00 for adults or £1.50 for Juniors*
(*under 18 at 1st September 2011)

On Sunday evenings throughout the season we hold practice sessions at Warden Park School in Cuckfield. Over the Christmas/ Easter periods there is normally a short break as is the date of the League's closed championships (which are normally held around the beginning of Spring). The League has agreed to continue to offer a cheaper rate for players prepared to pay in advance for Sunday practice. This opportunity covers the 5 weeks between 15th April and 13th May. The weekly practice cost is £3 for adults. It is unchanged from last year and I am sure you agree it is very cheap for two hours table tennis practice. We do need your support on Sunday evenings to help pay for the hall.

As mentioned above, the League also organize junior coaching between 5pm and 7:15pm on Sundays (Beginners 5pm to 6.30pm, intermediate & advanced players continue on to 7.15pm). There is a separate application form for this. Contact Lyle by clicking here for further information.

You don’t have to be registered in the league, you are most welcome just to come and play table tennis! There is usually a wide variety of abilities from beginners to premier league players, so whatever your standard is, you will enjoy the evening. Everyone is friendly and players are encouraged to mix.

Take the A23 until you come to the A272 Haywards Heath, follow the A272 to a roundabout, take the Cuckfield turn off.
At a mini roundabout in the centre of Cuckfield, turn right and the Wheatsheaf Inn is half a mile on your right. And Warden Park School is to the right just before the Wheatsheaf!
Drive up the main driveway towards the school (over the speed bumps) until you reach the main school entrance.
If there is space, turn to your right, and park on the gravel, or continue down the slope to the lower small car park. Access to the hall is from the lower car park.

Take the A272 west out of Haywards Heath.
At the first main roundabout, take the second exit, which is straight over the roundabout.
At the next roundabout again take the second exit, which is straight over the roundabout.
The Wheatsheaf Inn will be on your left-hand side after around 200 yards, and the entrance to Warden Park is on the left just afterwards.
