Haywards Heath & District Table Tennis League

2008/2009 Winners:

This is a competition available to all teams registered in the league. The games are set out with 3 players per team playing 2 singles games each and two games of doubles. There are 4 games per match with the score per game stopping at 11. Should players get to 10-10, only one more point is played. After all 9 matches have been played, a sealed handicap is opened and then the total points per team are added up to determine the winners.

This seasons First and Second round were played on the night of 7th October 2009 at Warden Park School. The top four teams from the first and second rounds would then progress to the Semi-final event to be played on 19th November 2009, again to be held at Warden Park School. The results were as follow.

ROUND 1

Warden Park 'A' beat Ditchling by 54 points

Kevin's Lot beat Warden Park 'C' by 25 points

Burgess Tigers beat Hang in There by 12 points

Gangsters beat Cuckfield by 25 points

Mines a Pint beat Warden Park 'D' by 36 points

Misfits beat Magiks by 16 points

ROUND 2

Burgess Tigers beat Ditchling by 35 points

Kevin's Lot beat Cuckfield by 2 points

Gangsters beat Warden Park 'A' by 3 points

Warden Park 'D' beat Magiks by 21 points

Hang in There beat Warden Park 'C' by 3 points

Misfits beat Mines a Pint by 4 points

Four teams each won two matches each on the night, putting them through to the Semi-Final, to be held on the 19th November. These teams are:
