PLEASE enter and have some FUN

The League is running an event specifically for people who do not play in a league.  Everyone plays everyone else off scratch.

The standard is not as high as the lowest team in the bottom division in the League.  It is a FUN competition and anyone can participate.

In the first round, each player will play the other 3 players in their group.

The winners of each group will then go into Group1, the runners up into group 2, third place into group 3 and the fourth place into group 4.

The players will then play the 3 players in their new group in the second round.  This ensures that each player plays six different opponents.  Even if you lose all your matches in the first round, you will be playing against similar players in the second round.

The competition is designed for parents of children being coached.  It will therefore start at 5.30 on Sunday afternoon and it should all be over by 7.30pm.

For those players wanting to stay, you are most welcome to continue playing to 8.30pm.

The cost of entry is £4 per player and there will be a trophy for the winner of Group 1 and the winner of Group 2.

It is important that players arrive early, so that play can start promptly at 5.30pm.  Tables will be available from 5pm for a little bit of practice before the event starts.

If you do not have your own bat, don’t worry, you can borrow one.

If you are interested, please let me know by phone or email as soon as possible.  Places are limited to 16.  Once you agree to play, please do your best to turn up, or if you can not, please let me know as soon as possible, so I can organise a replacement.

Each match will be best of 3 sets, up to 11 points, changing server every 2 points.  If the score reaches 10 all, play will continue until one player has a two point lead.
